Hebrews

¹In many words and in many portions, God spoke long ago to our fathers through his prophets. ²But in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son, whom he made heir of all things, and through whom he created all things. ³He is the radiance of God's glory and the exact likeness of his being, and he holds all things together by the power of his word. By his own being he accomplished the cleansing of our sins, and he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in the heavens. ⁴He was raised above the angels, by as much as he is greater than they, and he inherited a name that is greater and more honored than their names. ⁵For to which of his angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? And again he said, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son." ⁶And when he brought the firstborn into the world, he said, "Let all the angels of God worship him." ⁷Of his angels he said, "He makes his angels winds, and those who serve him a flame of fire." ⁸But of his Son he said, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. ⁹You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions." ¹⁰And again he said, "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. ¹¹They will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like a garment, and you will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed. ¹²But you are the same, and your years will never end." ¹³To which of his angels did he ever say, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet"? ¹⁴Are not all the angels spirits? They are sent out to serve for the sake of those who are going to inherit eternal life. ¹⁵ቦኑ፡ እንከ፡ ኢይከውነነ፡ ናብእ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ስብሐት፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ፍሬ፡ ከናፍሪነ፡ ከመ፡ ንእመን፡ በስሙ። ¹⁶ወኢትርስዑ፡ ምሒረ፡ ነዳያን፡ ወተሳትፎቶሙ። እስመ፡ ዘከማሁ፡ መሥዋዕት፡ ይኤድሞ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር። *በእንተ፡ አክብሮተ፡ መምህራን* ¹⁷ተአዘዙ፡ ለመኳንንቲክሙ፡ ወተኰነነ፡ ሎሙ። እስመ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ይተግሁ፡ በእንተ፡ ነፍስክሙ። ከመ፡ ዘይትሐሰብዎሙ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእንቲኣክሙ። ከመ፡ በፍሥሓ፡ ይግበርዎ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ወኢይንሀኩ። ¹⁸ወዝንቱ፡ ይደልወክሙ፡ ከመ፡ ትጸልዩ፡ በእንቲኣነ። ወንትአመን፡ ከመ፡ ታፈቅሩ፡ ወትፈቅዱ፡ ሠናየ፡ ለኵሉ። ¹⁹ወፈድፋደ፡ ትግበሩ፡ አስተበቊዐክሙ፡ ዘንተ፡ ከመ፡ ፍጡነ፡ እብጻሕክሙ። ²⁰ወአምላከ፡ ሰላም፡ ዘአንሥኦ፡ እምዉታን፡ ለሊቀ፡ ኖሎተ፡ አባግዕ። በደመ፡ ሥርዐት፡ ዘለዓለም፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ። ²¹ያጽንዕክሙ፡ ከመ፡ ትግበሩ፡ ፈቃዶ፡ በኵሉ፡ ምግባረ፡ ሠናይ። እንዘ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይገብር፡ ለክሙ፡ ሥምረቶ፡ በኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ። ዘሎቱ፡ ስብሐት፡ ለዓለመ፡ ዓለም፡ አሜን። ²²አስተበቊዐክሙ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ተወከፉ፡ ቃለ፡ ትምህርትክሙ። እስመ፡ በኅጹር፡ አዘዝኩክሙ። ²³ወአእምሩ፡ ከመ፡ ጢሞቴዎስ፡ እኁነ፡ ዘተፈነወ፡ እምኀቤነ፡ ኀቤክሙ። ወእመሰ፡ አፍጠነ፡ መጺአ፡ እሬእየክሙ። ²⁴አምኁ፡ ኵሎ፡ መኳንንቲክሙ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ቅዱሳነ፡ አምኁክሙ፡ እለ፡ ኢጣልያ። ²⁵ወጸጋሁ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵልክሙ፡ አሜን። ²⁶ወአድለቅለቃ፡ ለምድር፡ ቃሉ፡ ይእተ፡ አሚረ። ወይእዜኒ፡ ነገረ፡ ወይቤ፡ ዓዲ፡ ምዕረ፡ አነ፡ አድለቀልቃ፡ ለምድር። ወአኮ፡ ለምድር፡ ባሕቲታ፡ ዓዲ፡ ለሰማይኒ። ²⁷ወዘይቤ፡ ዓዲ፡ ምዕረ፡ ያሬኢ፡ ከመ፡ ያፈልሶ፡ ወያኀልፎ፡ ለዘያንቀለቅል። እስመ፡ ፍጡራን፡ እሙንቱ፡ ከመ፡ ይንበር፡ ዘኢያንቀለቅል። ²⁸ወበእንተ፡ ዝ፡ ንነሥእ፡ ንሕነ፡ መንግሥተ፡ ዘኢያንቀለቅል፡ ወብነ፡ ጸጋሁ። እንተ፡ በእንቲኣሁ፡ ንሠውዕ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር። ወናሠምሮ፡ በጸሎት፡ ወበስኢል፡ ወበፍርሀት፡ ወበረዓድ። ²⁹እስመ፡ አምላክነ፡ እሳት፡ በላዒ፡ ውእቱ። *በእንተ፡ ፍቅር፡ ወተወክፎተ፡ ነግድ* ³⁰በተአምኖ፡ ወድቀ፡ ዐረፋቲሃ፡ ለኢያሪሆ፡ አመ፡ የዐውድዋ፡ ሰቡዐ፡ ዕለተ። ³¹በተአምኖ፡ ረአብኒ፡ ዘማ፡ ኢተሀጕለት፡ ምስለ፡ ዐላውያን። እስመ፡ ተወክፈቶሙ፡ ለሰብአ፡ ዐይን፡ ወኀብአቶሙ፡ በሰላም። *በእንተ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ መስተጋድላን* ³²ወምንት፡ እንከ፡ እብል፡ እስመ፡ ኅጹር፡ ዕለትየ። ከመ፡ እዜኑክሙ፡ በእንተ፡ እለ፡ ጌዴዎን፡ ወባርቅ፡ ወዮፍታሔ፡ ወሶምሶን። ወዳዊት፡ ወሳሙኤል፡ ወባዕዳንሂ፡ ነቢያት። ³³እለ፡ በተአምኖ፡ ተጋደሉ፡ ወሞኡ፡ ነገሥተ። ወአድምዑ፡ ፍናዊሆሙ፡ ተገበሩ፡ ጽድቀ፡ ወረከቡ፡ ተስፋሆሙ። ³⁴ወፈፀሙ፡ አፈ፡ አናብስት፡ ወአጥፍኡ፡ ኀይለ፡ እሳት፡ ወድኅኑ፡ እምአፈ፡ ኵናት። ወጸንዑ፡ በሕማሞሙ፡ ወኀየሉ፡ በውስተ፡ ጸብእ፡ ወሰደዱ፡ ተዓይነ፡ ፀር። ³⁵ወነሥአ፡ አንስት፡ ምዉታኒሆን፡ አሕይዎሙ፡ ከመ፡ ዘትንሣኤ። ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ሞቱሃ፡ ተኰኒኖሙ። እስመ፡ ኢፈቀዱ፡ ድኂነ፡ ከመ፡ ይርከቡ፡ ሕይወተ፡ እንተ፡ ትኄይስ። ³⁶ወቦ፡ እለሂ፡ ቀሠፍዎሙ፡ ወተሣለቁ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ወሐመይዎሙ፡ ወሞቅሕዎሙ። ³⁷ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ወሠርዎሙ፡ በሞሠርት፡ ወወገርዎሙ፡ ወቀተልዎሙ፡ በአፈ፡ መጥባሕት። ወዔሉ፡ በሠቅ፡ ወበሐሜላት፡ ወበዘብድወ፡ ጠሊ፡ ተጸነሱ፡ ተመንደቡ፡ ሐሙ። ³⁸እሉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ዘኢይደልዎሙ፡ ዓለም፡ ወዔሉ፡ ውስተ፡ ገዳም። ወውስተ፡ አድባር፡ ወበአታት፡ ወግበበ፡ ምድር። ³⁹ወኵሎሙ፡ ሰማዕተ፡ ኮኑ፡ በሃይማኖት፡ ወኢያድምዑ፡ ዘአሰፈዎሙ። ⁴⁰እስመ፡ አቅደመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ርእየ፡ በእንቲኣነ። እንተ፡ ትኄይስ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይሠለጡ፡ ዘእንበሌነ። *በእንተ፡ ተሊዎተ፡ እግዚእ*
