2 Thessalonians
Chapter 1 of 3
1From Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of Thessalonica, believers in God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Peace to you, and grace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. 3It is right for us to thank God for you at all times, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith has grown greatly and your love for all your neighbors has increased. 4So we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God, because of your faith and your endurance in all the suffering and hardship that you bear patiently. 5This shows the righteous judgment of God, so that he may give you a share in his kingdom, for which you are suffering. 6It is right for God to repay with suffering those who make you suffer, 7and to give you who suffer rest along with us, when our Lord Jesus Christ comes from heaven with his mighty angels. 8He will take vengeance in flaming fire on those who do not know God and on those who do not listen to the teaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9They will receive their penalty: judgment of ruin and eternal destruction, away from the presence of our Lord and from the glory of his power, 10when he comes to be glorified in his saints and praised among those who believe in him. For our testimony to you was believed on that day. 11For this reason I always pray for you, that God may give you a share in the inheritance to which he called you, and by his power fulfill for you all his kindness, his goodness, and the work of faith, 12so that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ, and that you may remain in him. 13ወአንትሙሂ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ኢትትሐከዩ፡ ገቢረ፡ ሠናይ፡ ኵሉ፡ ጊዜ። *ሥርዐት፡ በእንተ፡ ዘኢይትኤዘዝ* 14ወእመ፡ ቦ፡ ዘኢይትኤዘዝ፡ ለቃልክሙ፡ ወለመጽሐፍክሙ። ይትፈለጥ፡ ወኢትትሐወልዎ፡ ከመ፡ ይትኀፈር። 15ወከመሰ፡ ጸላኢ፡ ኢትረስይዎ፡ አላ፡ ገሥጽዎ፡ ከመ፡ እኁክሙ። 16ወውእቱ፡ አምላከ፡ ሰላም፡ የሀብክሙ፡ ሰላመ፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ፡ ወበኵሉ፡ ግብር። 17ወእግዚእነ፡ የሀሉ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵልክሙ። ዘንተ፡ አምኃ፡ ጸሐፍኩ፡ ለክሙ፡ በእዴየ፡ አነ፡ ጳውሎስ። ወዝንቱ፡ ትእምርትየ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ መጻሕፍትየ፡ ከመ፡ ዝ፡ እጽሕፍ። 18ጸጋሁ፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ፡ የሀሉ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵልክሙ፡ አሜን። ‹
