1 Thessalonians
Chapter 1 of 5
1From Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of Thessalonica, believers in God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Peace to you, and grace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. 2We always thank God for you, and we remember you constantly in our prayers. 3Before God our Father we remember the work of your faith, the strength of your love, and the endurance of your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 4And we know, beloved brothers, that God has chosen you. 5For our teaching did not come to you in words alone, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with full conviction. You yourselves know how we were among you for your sake. 6And you became imitators of us and received the word of God amid great suffering, with joy in the Holy Spirit. 7So you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. 8For from you people have learned and heard the word of our Lord, and not only in Macedonia and Achaia. Your faith in God has become known in every place, so that we do not need to say anything about you. 9They themselves know how we came to you, and how you turned to God from the worship of idols to serve the living and true God, 10and to wait for his Son from heaven, Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead. He will save us from the wrath to come. 11ወይእዜኒ፡ አስተፍሥሑ፡ ቢጸክሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ዝ። ወይሕንጽ፡ አሐዱ፡ ካልኦ፡ ዘከመ፡ ትገብሩ፡ ዓዲ። 12ወናስተበቊዐክሙ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ዑቅዎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ይጻምዉ፡ በውስቴትክሙ። ወለእለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ለክሙ፡ በእንተ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ወይሜህሩክሙ። 13አክብርዎሙ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወአፍቅርዎሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ምግባሮሙ፡ ወተአምኅዎሙ። 14ወናስተበቊዐክሙ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ገሥጽዎሙ፡ ለዝሉፋን፡ ናዝዝዎሙ፡ ለሕዙናን። ጹርዎሙ፡ ለድኩማን፡ ወተዐገሡ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሉ። 15ዑቁ፡ ኢትግበሩ፡ እኩየ፡ ህየንተ፡ እኪት። አላ፡ ተባደሩ፡ ዘልፈ፡ ለሠናይ፡ በበይናቲክሙ፡ ወለኵሉሂ። *ዘከመ፡ ይደሉ፡ ጸልዮ፡ ለአኀው* 16ተፈሥሑ፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ፡ ወጸልዩ፡ ወትረ። 17አእኵትዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አብ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ግብር። 18እስመ፡ ዝ፡ ውእቱ፡ ፈቃዱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ እምውስቴትክሙ፡ በኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ። 19መንፈሰ፡ ኢታጥፍኡ። 20ወተነብዮ፡ ኢትመንኑ። 21ወኵሎ፡ አመክሩ፡ ወዘሠናይ፡ አጽንዑ። 22ወተገሐሡ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ምግባር፡ እኩይ። 23ወእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ ሰላም፡ ይቀድስክሙ፡ ፍጹመ። ወያጥዒክሙ፡ ነፍሰክሙ፡ ወመንፈሰክሙ፡ ወሥጋክሙ፡ በንጽሕ። እስከ፡ ምጽአተ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ። 24ወዘጸውዐክሙ፡ ጻድቅ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይግበር፡ ለክሙ፡ ዘንተ። 25ኦ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ጸልዩ፡ ለነ። 26አምኁ፡ ኵሎ፡ አኀዊነ፡ በአምኃ፡ ቅድሳት፡ ወተአምኁ፡ በበይናቲክሙ። 27አምሕለክሙ፡ በእግዚእነ፡ ታንብብዋ፡ ለዛቲ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ አኀዊነ፡ ቅዱሳን። 28ጸጋሁ፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ኢየሱስ፡ ክርስቶስ፡ ምስሌክሙ፡ አሜን። ‹
